• 1899- Andrea (Andrew) DiFiore is believed the first arrive in America. Andrea (32), a pastry chef, and his wife Angelina (29) both were able to read and write, sailed from Naples, Italy aboard the SS Tartar Prince on June 23, 1899. They arrived with $10.00.
• 1920 Census - Andre DiFiore (48), a grocery proprietor (speaks English); wife, Angelina (46) (does not speak English) are Italian immigrants arriving approximately 1900, with their children all born in New York- Christina (19), a stenographer at a machinery office; Mary (16) and Silvester (13).
